The darkness creeps around every corner and that is clearer than ever. The Wii U GamePad vibrates at those tense moments, which adds that dimension I needed to make it click. I was shivering a bit on my seat and felt uneasy about what was happening. What makes the opening so stand out is that there is a sense of dread that feels real. It is sadly all in vain as an evil female ghost traps her and her ultimate fate remains a mystery at the end of the beginning. This is needed as daunting spirits surround the girl and she has to run to find a way out of there. You stumble about for a bit and get to learn the game's basics quickly and easily. You get to play as Miu Hinasaki, who finds herself in a dark and unknown area. The prologue for Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water sets things up in a great fashion.
